Ordered one of these plates to see if it would accept the Cat3 phone plug that I intended to replace our modular phone jacks with. It worked fine. The only reason for a four rating is purely visual; the plate is not as deep as other stainless steel outlet plates. It is flatter against the wall. But for the price I can live with that. I plan to order more now that I know it will work. Note: if you order stainless steel you will receive what looks at first like a gray painted plate. That is just a protective vinyl film to avoid damage during manufacturing. It peels off.

Had one bad screw head out of 50 plates, but otherwise 100% success.

Faceplates fastened well to wall and jacks snapped in securely. The only complaint is that white is not pure white, slightly off. Otherwise, I would use them again.
